The facts. Once you have pushed those pumpkin “guts” down the drain the sticky and stringy pulp begins to harden creating all sorts of nightmares in your drain system. How to prevent a drain clog disaster. Try using a newspaper when carving your pumpkin. This makes it easy for disposal. This also makes it easy to pick out the seeds to be used as a yummy treat.
